Uno R4 · scrolling matrix text

ArduinoGraphics scrolls HI across the real 12×8 matrix in 50 ms steps. Edit the text or scroll speed in Code. Recompiling requires the pinned ArduinoGraphics 1.1.5 library.

The code

This Arduino C++ sketch lives in the Code tab; sign in and press Compile & upload to build real firmware for the emulated board.

#include <ArduinoGraphics.h>
#include <Arduino_LED_Matrix.h>

ArduinoLEDMatrix matrix;

void setup() {
  matrix.begin();
}

void loop() {
  matrix.beginDraw();
  matrix.stroke(0xFFFFFFFF);
  matrix.textScrollSpeed(50);
  matrix.textFont(Font_5x7);
  matrix.beginText(0, 1, 0xFFFFFF);
  matrix.print(" HI ");
  matrix.endText(SCROLL_LEFT);
  matrix.endDraw();
}
