ESP32-S31 rotary encoder
Turn the encoder on GPIO0/GPIO2 and watch signed pulse counts in Serial. Two 10 kΩ pull-ups hold its contacts at 3V3; the stock PCNT program resets at ±100. Enable verbose in Serial to see the stock INFO lines. Unmodified pinned ESP-IDF development source on the bounded S31 simulator profile; no physical flashing.
